Ym aways coming in start up

I want to remove Yahoo messanger from start up..i have done msconfig and unselect it
but it comes back again at startup whenever i run ym again

any permanent solution to disable it from running it in start up

dont use YM so cant tell u the exact path, but check out the preferences tab

the option u must look for will probably read run Yahoo messenger on start up

uncheck it

U have to login 1st to get that option

Login to Yahoo Messenger and disable the startup option from YM preferences. If multiple users are using YM on your machine, it is possible that every user might have to disabled Startup from YM preferences.

press ctrl+shift+p
in the opened dialog box deselct automatically start yahoo mesg.
u have to login first

Using any other tool which block adding/removing startup entries?Like spybot search and destroy, or any other security tool. This may be the culprit.
