Yahoo has relesed the long awaited update to Yahoo widget with proper support for Windows Vista. Although it is not native to Vista (WPF), well....it doesn't need to. Memory usage is optimised upto 40% on Vista too.
The new addition to Yahoo Widget 4 is the Widget dock. A new framewrok due to which all the new version 4 certified widgets will come with the normal widget as well as the dock compatible Mini widget. You can hide or unhide the dock as you like or even place it anywhere.
All the widgets bundled with Yahoo widget 4 are Widget dock compatible. Developers will soon update there existing widgets.
You can eith show every widget at once on the desktop, or you can simply show the Dock at the desktop while the full widgets are shown only in HUD.
