yahoo groups settings- members email

hi!

i have a yahoo group for my frends.(i am the owner )
now the problem is, some of the girl members complained of email abuse. i heard that there s a feature by whch members have a option to hide ther email addrs from other members. tried searching on yahoo groups but did'nt find any. please help!!!!

I'm not a moderator/admin of any group on yahoo... so I dunno what they're entitled to do, based on their powers.

However, I think I can recall that while registering for a group - one is given the option whether one needs to hide its email address from general view, on the group, or not.

Here's what I get from the 'Edit Membership' link from the main page of a group that I'm member of...

donno if u want this but under Membership Type and Welcome Message you can select

[CHECKBOX] Allow members to hide their email address from the group. 
Your group will not be able to use the Polls feature. Members who hide their email address will not be able to post messages via email. Once you have selected this option, you may not change it later.
