i want my comp to force me to change my password after 2 days for which i used the
net accounts /forcelogoff:5
and also net accouts /maxpwage:2
but nothing happens to my computer even after completion of two days.. not even on the third day...
how do i get my comp force me to change my pass on the desired day

Open regedit and nevigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

In right-side pane, create a DWORD value PasswordExpiryWarning and change its value to 2, if u want to warn after 2 days!

thanks,this one is copied and iam working on it but what does the net accounts command do (which we can configure thru command prompt.....) does it have no effect at all???
coz if u read my question i already configured thru net accounts to keep the password age as maximum of 2 days and if someone doeesnt change then the password,then i want the PC to log off forcefully within 5 mins....
how do i get the comp log off force fully in 5 mins if the user doesnt change even after the warning of changing the password.

geeks .... my problem is still persisting...
howcome no solution for this problem friends!!!
