Broken In
I had to cancell Windows XP setup, and i did cancel, but every time i start the computer i get the option "Microsoft Windows XP Professional Setup" . I want to delete this,, now can this be deleted if I just delete the folder C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT and change the startup settings?
Or do i have to do something else? or change something else..?
Do i have to delete any other folder?

Thanks in advance.

Right off the assembly line
Try this one I am not sure about this

open boot.ini file in "C" drive and delete the line
"Microsoft Windows XP Professional Setup" if it exist.
Dont alter any other thing

PS: please keep a backup copy of boot.ini if any problem occurs then replace changed one by this.

Coming back to life ..
You can also delete files like NTLDR NDetect but they dont make any harm .. so no need .. Just set the TimeOut value to 0 and make the OS entry default that you want to boot ..
