XP-Pro As File & Internet Sharing Server ?

Hi All,

Can someone throw some light on how to use XP-Pro/ Vista-Business as a Domain Controller for File & Internet Sharing..if its possible...

What is your exact requirement ?

Domain Controller is used for authenticating clients under Active Directory concept.

File Server is used for sharing files using Port 445.

Internet Sharing is done through ICS or Internet Connection Sharing.

To be more precise, the requirement is to authenticate users through a domain controller for all sharing purposes...so as to assign different levels of permissions for different sets of users on the network all through keeping a close eye on the activities..
