XP can not identify my digi cam

When I connect my digicam (Canon 610), my XP can not identify my digicam. Where as my 98 identifies it . (I am having duel booting). What can be the problem?

I have reinstalled XP but no joy!!!!

you will need drivers 4 this 1. search on cannons websites.
if you dont find Xp drivers "usually" win 2k drivers also work.

Check if your driver is properly installed or whether the driver supports XP or not.

try to install SP2 so that it enables USB2.0 drivers
