hey guys chill of yar. If any one wants to sell something what price he should sell it for depends on him, and what price a buyer will buy is entirely upto him. That's bargaining. Though i must accept that rs 4000 for 8600 GTS is o nthe higher side, i did sell a 8600 GT for rs 3700 just some days back...but it was brand new unopned..u do find takers for that..no need for abusing someone who wants to sell..AT PEACE BRO!

Brand new card. Fully sealed. Took 5 good photos and rest was intelligient marketing on ebay ! You got a good bargain on ebay if yours was 256 MB DDR 3. Mine was a 512 MB onboard DDR 3, so 3700/- might just b the sweet spot..hey does any one has a 2nd hand ati radeon 4850 on hand???

8600GTS is far far far more better than 8600GT
8600GT 512MB DDR3
Core Clock: 540Mhz
Memory Clock: 1400Mhz
8600GTS 256MB DDR3
Core Clock: 675Mhz
Memory Clock: 2000Mhz
So which one is better Einstein...

No need of taking lessons dude. I know that the GTS is the overclocked version of the GT, but then not every casual customer would know that. Looks like someone else needs some marketing lessons from me!

Yes you can overclock 8600GT but not from
540Mhz to 675Mhz and 1400Mhz to 2000Mhz
if anyone does this after few days the card will burn out..

u can overclock 8600GT slightly like 540Mhz to 580-590Mhz
but not 675Mhz its insane...

LOL..that's what i was going to explain to this guy, how easy it is to hack the 8600 GT bios and change it to 8600 GTS ..leave aside the simple overclocking. but then, thought better than to bang mah head! 
mate. just increasing your clock speed and memory wont count for anything but a frame rate increase of 5-6 on avg max.! Does the GTS have more than 32 SP?? once you enable AA and AF, more than clock speed your SP comes into play. and i would go with a 512 MB DDR 3 anyday than a overclocked overpriced version of t he same card. It's just marketng gimmick. It may be better but not WAY BETTER. And please dude..before any card burns off, you gonna face much more mighty problems thant hat stage..but then, leave it.....if you feel it's right to call ur 8600 GTs WAY good...then let it be it!
