The power outage was caused because Quads literally gulp power off the PSU.Powersafe 400W was never going to cut it but then i couldnt wait :D
Now that my Seventeam is here, i am gonna start playing again ;)

I have pushed 1.725V through my E6600 when i did 4GHz under water on my P5N32-E SLI :) so 1.5 is no big deal

You think i am not aware of 965 performance capabilities ? Commando is an excellent mobo, great overclocker. Please note, this setup is for a friend. He didnt want a uber expensive mobo. Also Commando is ridiculously priced at 14k+ and now that P35 is out,it doesnt make sense to get 965 ;)
I guess ur right.

I received my Seventeam PSU yesterday so did some more testing with the PSU.

Seventeam ST-500BKP

Following are the results,
3.2 GHz to begin with, Dual Orthos run at Priority 8,

3.4GHz ,
*img515.imageshack.us/img515/7421/34gloadwateriu7.th.jpg

Beyond this i couldnt push, maybe chipset voltage was falling short or the board had reached its limits or chip reached its limit, i dont know. I am guessing its the chip because, dropping the multiplier, i could easily bench at 400FSB. One more thing i liked about this board is even though it is a Value board, it could manage 400 FSB on Quad Core which i feel is awesome.

Some 3DMark 2006 run to test stability ?

Its fine for Quads ;) Vcore = 1.39V
You seriously dont know how these Quads spit out Heat. They are fire monsters or something.
Also how many times do i tell you guys, Swiftech Apogee is NOT a Quad Core friendly Waterblock :(

But considering that with stock cooler, at stock speeds, the temps were hitting, 78-79c at load, i am not complaining if it remains in 67c range at 1 GHz more speed. Mind you , its 4 friggin cores !;)
