[WTB] HDD need suggestion

I need a HDD internal/external.
My 500GB external has failed on me, before I send it for RMA, I need to by desktop (3.5 inch) model external or a internal desktop HDD and a case.

checked above thread and thought transcend casing is good idea, but have another question. internal HDD currently on sale are mostly SATA 3, so what benefit will I get buying an USB 2.0 case. ---> also I need internal HDD suggestion, and problem if any in big size (1.5/2 TB) HDDs and are there USB 3 casing available here in our market

1.) Seagate Free Agent GoFlex (1TB) 3.5" External HDD -----> Rs. 3.5K

2.) Seagate Free Agent GoFlex (1TB) 2.5" External HDD -----> Rs. 5K

3.) Seagate Free Agent GoFlex (2TB) External HDD ----------> Rs. 5.5K

It seems there is a separate USB 3.0/2.0 adaptor which is needed or is buyable, so wanted to know about these coming in India. Also as from Seagate site USB 3 based GoFlex are cheaper than USB 2, upto 2 TB capacity
so can anyone put on suggestion for these

ok, I am not considering 1 TB, 1.5 TB or more, I always go for cheapest per MB cost. that is for 3.5 inch based option and no 2.5 inch

secondly my question was does GoFlex externals come along with adapter or it is needed to be bought separately. Rephrasing the question -- availability of GoFlex with USB 3.0

another question, SATA3 internal desktop HDD with a casing with USB 2.0/Firewire performance

and if I have to buy an internal HDD, what are the good options in terms of per MB cost (not looking heavily on performance of read and write)
