Wireless Mouse & Keyboard

Wireless or Wired Keyboard! Confused?

I bought a wireless mouse & keyboard six months back along with a new PC.
The battery provided with the new keyboard/mouse set spanned for 3-4 months, but after then when i purchased new batteries from the stores its performance was deteriorating, hardly it was lasting one and half month.

Thinking this am planning to switch over to wired ones! Any suggestions plz...

Its an Amkette Keyboard/Mouse, priced @ around 1500/-(not precise).
I do play games but my usage is limited to 3-4 hours/day.

Right now am trying with two Eveready & two Duracell, both are AAA.
I think i need to get a wired keyboard maybe that would solve the problem!
