Wireless Data Transfer between 2 centrinos?

ics is difficult to work on an adhoc network .. if it doesnt work with all the tips ive given. .. then its tough to get it to work ..

do one thing ...
run the ICS wizard dont set it up manually.
ull be asked to make a floppy
use that to setup the client pc
apparently that works perfectly

i am able to access files on lan ... but no internet sharing.

im not gonna repeat it ...
if u want ics then go thru the wizard and dun set it up manually
if beyond that it doesnt work then install a proxy software
THERS IS NO OTHER SOLUTION unless u purchase a router

when i use same settings for wired LAN then it working fine ... but when i do same settings for wireless LAN it is not working.... i think the only difference is hardware ... all settings are same.

thats the problem in wireless lan
to share a net connection u need a router or proxy
ICS has some issues

by default in an ad hoc network u cannot share a net connection .. unless u use 3rd party software
