winXP startup

i have win XP sp1 installed on a p4 2.8GHz with 256 MB RAM.whenever i startup my system,the following messages are shown.



Rundll
Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2.bin\MWSBAL.dll

the specified module could not be found.



& the other message is:

Harddisk

file not found.


how do i get rid of them??

Goto Start-->Run.
Type msconfig and click OK.Then goto the StartUp tab.You will see the processes scheduled to run at startup there.Delete the process which is doing this.

Ideally you should minimum programs scheduled to run at startup.

Your system is infected with 'My web search' MWSBAL.dll' Spyware. This is a spyware originating from www.mywebsearch.com. This is also classifed as a Trojan. My Web Search is the Internet Explorer toolbar part of the Fun Web Products suite of utilities such as Smiley Central, Cursor Mania, My Mail Stationary etc website portal.

Solution:

>Start>Control Panel
>Add/Remove Programs
>Uninstall 'My Web Search' in the list of installed programs. If you don't find it in the list, nothing to worry-it has been removed already.

Reboot system and then,

Download Free Version: SpyBot Search and Destroy
Install it and perform a complete system scan.

This should solve your problem.
