WinXP SP2. How much RAM reqd ?

ahh man i dunno wat he will do mayb play roadrash jus kiddin.. but m8 i know u cant feel the effects.. esp if u wanna tweak ya sys.. but then id also recomend him to go for a 512 mb with min 266 Mhz bus speed.. but he asked us only the ram req to run and 64 is sufficient to jus RUN the OS.. so let him decide wat to do

xp will work on ram > 64 mb
but you will have to tweak it to run it fast
i have ran xp on 96 mb ram which worked fine for me

Is it DDR or SD RAM, that you use ?

i use sd ram but now i use 224 mb sd ram

Windows Xp doesnt required additional RAM. U should have atleast 128 RAM to run WINDOWS XP.

Not necessary, Ive run Win XP on 64mb....

xp can run on 64 mb also !

For XP with SP2, 512 is recommended.
