WinXP - Explorer Common Tasks – View as a Slide Show option

Win XP offers a feature of Common tasks in Windows Explorer. Normally when you have a collection of images in a folder, you get an option to View as a slide show in the common tasks.

However I find that this option is not available when you view photos from a CD media and when it is loaded in Writer type of drive I.e CD or DVD writer. Then I get only option as ‘Write these files to CD. Is there any way to view jpg files from CD in slide show mode in this particular case.

ya u can.
Open the file in Windows picture and fax viewer and then in the bottom click on the button Start slide show or press F11
