I have Windows XP SP2 running on an Athlon64 3200+, a Asus K8N mobo n a seagate barracuda hdd. Everytime windows starts up, it says that the registry has been restored from a backup or log, and the restore was successful....Why does this happen? is it because of a hardware conflict or something? could it b cuz i hv both onboard sound (realtek) and the creative sound card? could there be a hardware conflict between the both of them or something?

dunno y that occurs... but you can see hardware conflicts from 'system information' located at start -> all programs -> accessories -> system tools
