Windows XP gives more Errors Than Windows 98

Windows 98 Errors are only Blue Screen Mostly

But Windows XP Errors are universal

    1. Add Remove List Error
    2. Dial Up Networking is dissabled
    3. Anti virus error
    4. MS Office install Uninstall error
    5. MS JVM Error (Java)
    6. MS Jet Database Engine Error

    & so on ....

How to get rid out of this ...

Upgrade from Windows 98 SE to Windows 2000 was really emotional one I must say.I really was in love with Win98. 8) :p

Error wise I don't know much.Every OS has its own errors.
Anyway keep the setup minimal and you'll be error free.

2: Reboot Required: Clean your temp folder
3: ImageDrive error: - Do u have enough drive letters left? whats ur last drive letter?
4: svchost: this is not an error, it is common.
5: System shutdown: - check your event log for failed services

AS far as my experience is with XP is that, if you are not connected to any network its good, better than 98 (faster & more stable) but if connect to net you get sucked! Now i use 98 se its quite ok almost error free! now only ie 6 sucks even after installing ie service pack!

I prefer using linux for net surfing.
I had 98 & Xp dual boot ;recently I formatted & now only xp rulez. I like 98 but did not find enough reason to use both.
