I have Windows XP, which boots through linux GRUB boot loader.
When I switch on my PC and select DOS as the boot option..it reboots itself...windows starts successfully only after two or three reboots.
It has been only few days, since this prob has crept up.

Whats the solution..can any one help me..?

Try to remove the GRUB loader, by issuing fdisk /mbr command in Command Prompt using Win 98 setup CD or use fixmbr command using win XP Setup CD.
Then try to reinstall GRUB loader by using Linux Setup CD. I think it has been told in many posts how to reinstall it.

It should solve the problem...

Our forum member firewall has already posted How to reinstall GRUB Boot Loader:

Boot into the rescue mode using install CD1 by typing "linux rescue" at the boot prompt. When it asks you if you want it to find your installation and mount it, let it by selecting "Continue". Once you get to the sh prompt chroot into you installation with:

# chroot /mnt/sysimage

If the disk you boot from is /dev/hda then you should be able to reinstall grub with:

# grub-install /dev/hda
