Windows SP2 error !!!!!

Hi guys..

Need one more help frm u guys..my sis hv XP Pro installed wit SP1..she needs to install office 2007 so she needs to install sp2 first..

she d/l sp2 frm windows site and she tries to install but finishin installation she gets a error mess "wbemupgd.dll could not be loaded"..

hv googled and culdn find those tricks workin..wats the poss solution ??

Though it says, for Server 2003 but XP and 2k3 are buit on same platform, so worth a Try *support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/838860

also Before u start the Installation, do thise Things, Run one sfc /scannow to check for any missing system file, and then install this, WIndows Installer V2 ... now try to install the SP2 once again

hv tried the first step..stil same..

wil try the next 2 steps and revert bac..thnx 4 the tips.

Is thr a pirated version of service packs?? Oops me not aware of it..

XP is genuine as wel as SP1 is genuine.

Install afresh version of win XP and then install sp2 4m digit cd/dvd

Original ones can use MS products like IE 7 and WMP 11. But pirated ones can't use them. Also if SP 1 is original then probably SP 2 original will give errors while install. Pirated cost Rs 50~150 while original cost 5000

wat happ was..we restarted the pc and found in my computer props its showin has windows xp wit sp2..think the installation succeeded eventhough it givs the wbem error..

also tried scan - no errors
also windows installer 3.1 is avail in pc..

now tryin to install office 2007..

wil revert bac if any more probs..
