Microsoft is a huge company. I think they can easily manage the Windows Phone team, even after the lead has moved to another company.

Kindle fire will lead the android tablet market in 2012 and beyond, and may even rival ipads someday, the guy's smart to have made the jump.

Leaving or joining of one single developer won't affect any project a bit at all whether that person be a leading developer or lowest level developer.
