hi guyz hidden files s not been shown i tried the registry tweak also.but not workin.. so guyz help me out..

You are infected by some virus probably which is not allowing you administrative powers. Download Noob Killer and do a 8-X Kill or delete the virus manually, select it from there, it may do the trick.

just do boot scan of all your partitions using avast and the virus will be gone.

for such a small task dont take the pains of reinstalling WinXP...
just follow the apps prescribed by other members...

i would recommend using..
USB Disk Security [TRIAL] [www.zbshareware.com/download.html]
USB Antivirus [TRIAL] [*www.usbantivirus.net/]
use the system settings restore feature and uninstall the tools...
