windows coa label

hello,

i purchased office 2010 a few days ago. there was an offer that ill get a free speaker. when i registered for the offer, i got a mail asking for the bill and coa number. i gave the bill and the coa number but now hes asking for a scanned copy of the coa label. what should i do? is it safe to give it?

fold the COA to make fold creases [make 'em deep, so they'll be visible] and write your bill no on it with blue pen. and then scan and send it. :D

well, if your worry was the guy would make a duplicate of your COA copy, then this will solve it. :p

i've got the home and student version which is for three home computers. can he use to label to fetch himself a genuine copy of office or activate office?

dunno... see if the COA has serials written on it. if it is written, on the scanned jpeg use paint to put black mark over the serials, to make it ineligible.
