Don't use the link given above to download Winamp. It is bundled with an MP3 song and will increase your download size by more than 3 MB.

Get the Lite version here *download.nullsoft.com/winamp/client/winamp509_lite.exe
Get the Full version here *download.nullsoft.com/winamp/client/winamp509_full_emusic-8basic.exe

If you get the Full version, make sure you do not install the Emusic offer for 50 free MP3's. It is spyware.

I'm an ardent winamp user and I'm currently using 5.07. Is there anything new worth the download in the new 'amp?

In one of his posts, the forum admin DJ Egg says that he doesn't recommend an upgrade to WinAmp 5.09. Its better to stick to 5.08. He has also given the links for known bugs and 5.08 downloads :)
