Win7 ate my Win XP

I had installed Win XP on my HDD's 4th partition...
I had heard from friends that installing Win 7 along with XP on other partition allows you to have a dual boot config....
But that's not so. Is there any way to have a dual boot config

XP sp3 x86 installed on F: drive
7 ultimate x64 installed on C: drive

First install win xp and then install win 7. this will allow you to have dual boot.

u said win 7 ate ur xp, means u had installed win 7, over win xp,
no logic here that u r unable to boot,
bt in case u are use EasyBCD (free version) to reconfigure ur boot, (or say set dual-boot)
and 1 thing EasyBCD doesn't work with Windows XP

Gaurav is right first you should install Xp then 7 then only you could Dual Boot the two OS

There is still a way. Use EasyBCD and reinstall the boot loader and you are set.
