win 98 not detecting cd rom drive. dos and xp detects it

but have u guys saw... this adi dude have writen that i had formated & reinstalled his system many times....

I don't remember him saying that he has clean formatted the system.
What he said was he reinstalled the OS many times.

cannot find a device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application. The windows registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device, but the device file no longer exists.............

U need to install network neighbourhood again.Uninstalling network driver and reinstalling the drivers would do the trick.(During network driver installation it may ask u for Windows 98CD)

intel 's 915 gav m.b does not support win 98 se so the graphics and sound r not working any idea to make them work

where ca i get driver for win 98? cant find on intel's site
