why is this game making my pc restart.

hello guys.well i have a game called midnight club2.whose system reqirements are.System: Pentium III 800Mhz or equivalent
RAM: 128 MB
Video Memory: 32 MB
Hard Drive Space: 1600 MB


and i have p4 3.0ghz with ht technology.
512mb ram.intel onboard gma915.128mb.
but every time i stsrt the game it starts and on the menu screen it freezes for a second and make the system restart.
no other game has made this type of system restart.other games work well.

well my friend has intel gma845 but he is able to play the game.

someone told me to upgrade my bios or motherboard driver should i do it??

please help.

Chek for the latest DirectX installed on your system. And also try it out to see that the game which you are tying to play is not a pyrated one. Because as the system you have this short of problem must not occur at all.
One more you can do is to visit the official site of the Game Manufacturer many of the Game publishers provide an online support for such type of problem.

You need to update your Video drivers and nothing else. Don't even attempt flashing your BIOS so soon, unless the problem is confirmed to be an issue with that. You may try reinstalling your Motherboard-Video-Drivers and see if that works out.
