Which version of IPad to go for ???

Hi guys

I intend to buy good 10 inch tablet. budget 30-35k. Location: Delhi.
Prime tablet uses will be :
HD gaming, Movies, Sat Nav (GPS must).

I have zeroed in to IPad..
So many choices in android arena have confused me (though i love android on my phone). I am still open for android tablets. Pls suggest gud options.
Please suggest which version out of IPAD 3 or IPAD4 (only minor CPU upgrade ??) to go for and with how much memory (intend to load few HD games and several apps, only 1-2 movies at a time)

Will be buying by this weekend. pls also suggest where to buy for best deals(with bill).

Better to get the latest piece since the A6X is considerably faster and seeing as how Apple is moving towards the Lightning connector future availability of accessories for iPad 3 might become weak. Try buying from eBay using some coupons to get a better deal.

thanks Krow & ithehappy for bringing the GPS issue in notice. ipad with cellular are very costly. 32GB model wont fit in my budget of 35k :cry:
GPS is must for me... what others options should i look at.

Yes only the cellular versions have GPS. If you are willing to buy an Android tab then Galaxy Note 800(10.1) seems to be the best option for you.

But i have read few bad reviews about its display, touch and build. Have not personally tried it yet. Any first hand experiences ??

Check the following:

iberry Auxus CoreX4 3G Quad Core

I came to know of this tab recently and the spec sheets look solid. Comes with an exynos 4412 chipset comprising of 4 arm cortex A9 cores ( quadcore) and a mali 400mp gpu ( The same in galaxy S3 and note 2 and the above mentioned note 10.1).
The tab packs an IPS display and iberry tablets with ips panels are said to have a crisp display. Besides, it also comes packed with all your needs that is gps, 3g , 2gb ram and also up gradable to jelly bean.

At 15.9 k for a 10 incher offering so much, i guess its a steal and will also save you considerable amount of cash and do all the work you throw at it. Just give this one a look and see if it stands to your needs.:)

Anyway, iPad 3 16GB 4G costs around 37-38k. Should be good for your needs and you need not stretch your budget too much either.

But its not yet launched :cry: I have following this beast since it was announced. This one has got hardware similar to note 800 and has got HDMI out also :-D .
Will the 4:3 resolution be a problem with compatibility with games (read on the forum to avoid such odd resolutions)
By the way i did enquire on that thread about launch and reviews (3rd post is mine) :| Anyways thanks...

Krow, I feel with no option of expandable memory 16GB will cause me trouble considering the large sizes of IOS HD games (I will be installing several along with regular apps and expect to keep 1-2 HD movies as well) . Thats why i think to go for at least 32Gig version which is now out of question as wifi only has no GPS :cry:.

On second thought, is there a source in india from where i can get refurbished ipad 3 / ipad 4 (with warranty) :-?
Probably cellular model from there will fit in my budget :razz:

Buddy i guess its already launched. You can either buy it from ebay ( gave the link above) or from its official site below:

AFAIK, 4:3 resolution won't pose any problems in gaming at all. Even ipad 2 has similar resolutions but it plays everything.
The chipset decides the overall gameplay experience and exynos 4412 can handle everything right now. :)

Btw, here's the review of coreX2 3G and i guess its got some very good comments.

The corex2 is a dual core whereas x4 is a different beast.

Hi Mate,

I would suggest you go for the Ipad 4. Got it this christmas.
Am using the 64 gb model WIFI only and it Rocks !!!
For GPS, i would suggest using your mobile. So dont waste the extra few bucks for the cellular version.
Instead use it for the additional storage version.
The more space the better :)

How's Spice MI-1010... users pls give comment about the device. Seeing its video reviews on youtube gives me a feeling that its a well built, beautiful and powerful tab with 10 inch 1280*800 IPS display .... pretty impressive..
Available from my nearby Spice Hotspot for Rs.12900

anyone with first hand experience ..pls comment.. i wish to place an order today.
