Which Sound card to use?

Hai to all
I have "LG my pc" and its configuration is intel 915 mother board,1GB RAM,80GB HDD. Basically i am a music lover my sound driver is "RealteckAc97". And iam using Tech.com 2.1 speakers but iam not satisfied with that sound. So i want to move to Creative Inspire 2.1 or 5.1. Along with i want to buy Creative 5.1 sound card. Is this is good choice or go for another one. And also if insert Sound card for 5.1 and use 2.1 Speakers is there any problem or it just works fine suggest me please.......

Change ur speakers if u wish to. U already have a good sound card (on Board).
If I m nt mistaken all boards,Intel 915 onwards, have Intel Hi-Def audio.so no point wasting few thousands on a new card. U r nt getting good output as TechCom is a local brand like Intex and Zebronics. They were never good in speakers. Get Creative, Logitech, Altec Lansing or Bose. There are many more good brands.
