i purchased ddr2 800 2gb but it is not booting.

compq CQ50. laptop cpu amd athelon dual core, ram - 1.5 gb ddr2 667fsb, 160 gb Hdd.
it m trying to update ram extra 2gb ddr2 800 fsb. but nit working.

@ OP - as you have not posted some more necessary infos ( cq50 has different models ) it's best for you to opt for a 1GB DDR2 667 Mhz laptop ram module :

do note that this is only a indicative suggestion .. use cpu-z and make sure the timings/latency of both ram modules are matching with each other.
