Which Mobile Phone???

Hi,
I want to buy a new handset for me. By analyzing my requirements, I concluded to Sony W300i model. But some of my friends told me that Sony's joystick starts giving problems in 1-2 years. So don't buy a Sony handset that has Joystick. Is it true? Does W300i comes with joystick? Have any of you experienced such problem? I am confused. Can anybody please suggest me any good model depending on my requirements-

u can get a w550i easily in 9k.. Try to get a k750i and u mite get it if u r lucky.. In nokia go 4 5300 or in abt 10.2k get a 6233

I too bought W300i recently.

It does not have a joystick. So no problems.
W550i is another good option. But it does not have a memory slot and no EDGE. W600 has EDGE.

I chose W300 only because of EDGE.

If you can add 1k to ur budget, you must go for k750.

the network & sound quality is similar between nokia & Sony ericsson now, you won't notice any difference

^^ Yes, W300i has EDGE Class 10. And W300i has an amazing battery life. Infact it can play music continuously for 27 hours without charging (in flight mode)!

saw a advt regarding LG Dyanmite 300 / 200.. hows itguys.? it alos comes withn 8000..LG 200 has 2 MP camera !!! tats very economical wen compared with nokia phnes..

so, i need a Mob with 1 to 2 MP & also havi edge , other features too.. Does Nokia models falls within 10k for tat specificatns.?
I am looki for a GPRS coonec for my soontoget laptop as i dnt want to depend on datacards which are very costly & also i think their netspeeds are more or less same when compared with a GPRs connec..Am i Wrong..??

Nokia 6233 comes with Class10EDGE and has 2MP camera.
It has stereo speakers, its screen is bigger than k750i.
Price is somewhere near 11400/-
