Which mobile phone in 12-15K range? Please reply asap

One of my friend is asking me abt best mobile phone to be bought in 12-15 K

The list analysed by me is:


Nokia c6 and nokia x2
sony ericsson xperia x8 and xperia x10
samsung galaxy 3, galaxy 5, galaxy pop and galaxy ace, wave
htc wildfire
lg optimus one

Basically the need is good touchscreen phone with good screen and camera, good looks etc. etc.
anyother mobile, please suggest....?

Dont go for any nokias..
Search for androids.

Wildfire is not good.. The newer Wildfire S is good...
Bt it is not released yet..

ACE, Wildfire S, optimus one are the best 3 choices in this range.

sony ericsson xperia x8 and xperia x10 <--- X8 not recommended. & X10 cost ~24k
samsung galaxy 3, galaxy 5, galaxy pop and galaxy ace, wave <--- Ace can be considered or may go for Wave.
htc wildfire
lg optimus one <--- for 12k, one of the best VFM mobile with superb support from DEVs.

anyother mobile, please suggest....?

camera = Ace.
overall balanced mobile = Optimus One.
affordable touchscreen = Huawei IDEOS X5 (not launched but should be launched for 13-14k).

As other members have said... your friend has to choose between Optimus One and Galaxy Ace.

As rightly said above, u only need to choose between O1 and Ace ... M just going to copy paste something I wrote in some other thread regarding my opinion between these two fones

Ace definately is a better fone than O1 .... but not by a lot ...

Ace over O1 - slightly bigger screen (3.5in over 3.2in), faster processor ( 800mhz over 600mhz), better camera (5mp vs 3mp... but to be honest, both cameras suck real bad... horrible video recording and very average snaps)

O1 over ace - bigger battery (1500mAh over 1350), price (12k vs 15k)

Note that both use the same chipset MSM7227 ... and u can push the O1 up to 729mhz without any issues .. it needs to be seen if the MSM7227 on the Ace can can clocked beyond 800mhz ...

So in my opinion, the only differentiating factors are the screen (in favour of Ace) vs the price (in favour of O1) ....
