Dude you didn't name the real good ones.

(1.)ID softwares-they are just great.
(2.)Valve-they innovate other just follow.
(3.)Microsoft-They make crappy OS but their games are really awesome.

There is a difference between developers and publishers.
Developers(valve,id) make,publishers(Like M$ ,activision) sell.

VALVE AND ID SOFTWARES are the real dominator of gaming industry.But CRYTEK is doing wonders recently first with FAR CRY(Awesome game just love it) and now with CRYSIS.
