what i meant is the failure rate seagate drives seems to have a high failure rate but i didnt see any reviews about western digital green drive
nor did i see any thread on which hard drives or ssd to buy in tdf

Failure rate is based on the products sells. It is simple Segate sells more hdd than WD so basically their failure rate will be higher than WD

Well I've been using Seagate HDDs for tha past 6-7 years and still its running fine.

All the Seagate HDDs I have used work fine. One WD went into clicking noises in some years. Two other WDs are fine though.
