Dude Hdd is Hdd !It has a performance hour uptill than it works fine it's in 3 lakh or something!!

Look around and get info whose service center is nearer to you and go for it!

I have seagate and samsung both companies hdd!
Seagate makes little noise but thats ok!
it's a trusted name when comes to HDD!

I agree that Seagate "was" great in till 80GB IDE n till 160GB SATA 1 or 2 but above that best bet is WD ot HITACHI. Don't ever go for Samsung, Serviece is real bad. This comes from my personal Exp. Was big fan of Seagate, Once i bought a SATA 2 300GB , I had to replace it 4 times. Too much of heat, Noise, not stable also.

Hitachi: 250GB @ 2700 bucks
WD: 350GB @4700 bucks
Seagate: 320 GB @ 4700 bucks
