you buying GT450 or you already have it?
Get Corsair Vengeance as your mobo doesnt support 1866MHz(i.e HyperXFury).

Also you dont need a H97 for an i3.

Oh yh right only 1600mhz

I already have GTS 450.....pls leave my poor g card alone.....lol

Yh i know H81 is also compatible
but i can stretch to h97.....so it will help for future upgrades i guess....except overclocking

Instead of spending on H97, why not get an i5 and a H87 board? The H97 will have ABSOLUTELY NO IMPACT on anything whatsoever.

you decided to spend 7k on mobo. that i3 4160 cpu costs atleast 7.5k which means a total budget of 14.5k for both cpu and mobo.
the cheapest i5, i5 4440 is available for 11k.if you could settle with a b85 mobo(or even an h81 although not recommended),you could get an i5 which is a better option for gaming. if you bought an h97 hoping for future upgrades, remember only intel broadwell cpus(just launched 3 days ago) will support on that mobo which means any sudden upgrade would be a waste of money. intle 6th gen skylake is also not so far which would have brought something to the pocket.

you need to get a good psu if you are having a local desi one.

yh i had finalized H81 M GAMING 3/ H81 M D3H (as only these 2 support 4096 resolution in gigabyte n none in asus for H81) n neither b85

BUT i called gigabyte india ,even they said ,these versions not yet launched ,,but the site has it n also entire lamington rd was unaware lol
only h81 s1 everyewhere

so h97

H97 ALSO supports 5th gen which these 2 doesnt ....n desktop 5th gen cpu not launched ...may be sooner or later this yr

Intel RST12,Lake Tiny,Intel Smart Response Technology,Small Business Advantage,M.2 Support are all cov by H97 MD3H

thts y m8!!

yet to purchase intel . lets see!!

cnt drag budget more as CA FINAL KA 1 GROUP remaining :lol:.. so smthing is better thn nothing

To add to it broadwell is mainly targeted at low power devices IMO. I think skylake is going to be the main workhorse later with 100 series motherboards ;)
