which antivirus do u prefer and why?

i would like to know abt the antivirus which u guys would prefer and the reason. i use norton antivirus and it makes the system very slow than usual i believe. what would be the best one u would prefer? pls express ur views on this.

i have used quickheal, norton. mcafee, f-prot, avast, avg, panda & nod32.

i prefer to use BITDEFENDER. i think its the best ! its got a high detection rate, easy on the resources, good features and options ( can disable it on a fly, if you find it dragging your pc), good international rating, a 100% VB pass. check out *www.toptenreviews.com 8)

Give ur system specs. If Norton hogs ur system resources thn try AVG or Avast, both r free for home use. Kasperesky is also but i think it is also a resource eater, never tried it. i use Norton Antivirus
