Where is my Driver ??

Right off the assembly line
i have a PC configured as P4 1.6 GHz, 128 RAM, 40 GB HDD, Samsung CD-RW installed Windows XP sp2 using for the VBProgramming and Web Designing.
the main problem is that my pc is sounding fast like forwarding the audio. this problem is not solved after re-installing the OS. i have posted this problem once to the digit but the team. the solution is published at October Digit. they answerd to install the Intel Chipset driver but i don't know where is my Dirver. my dealer won't give me that driver CD. i tried to install another motherbord driver but it dosen't work.

I don't know which is my Driver. How can i know that the right driver is for me and where can i get it.

please please provide me solution that how can i know my Driver version or other details.

this is making me getting away from Computer.

u hav to know the motherboard number!! that only can help u find the chipset driver. like intel D865GBF which is mine, p4 865 chipset model!! locate tat.. or ask ur dealer. then u cud locate the chipset easily..

use software like sisoft sandra to find your mobo model andthen goto the manufacturer's site and d'load it

Go to Start->Programs->Accesories->System Tools->System Information
Find your model & hardware info here.
Regarding the driver,
Better check Control Panel->Sounds & other devices-> There may be some brand name that you must've seen before in ur pc like SoundMax,etc.
Check for support that will take you to the support website where new drivers and information are likely to be available.
