Ya...there are issues with ICS ROMS, but they exist.

But, you can certainly try Gingerbread one...if you have no issue with rooting.

Are, are...I don't know. I've not used 'em. I'm on Galaxy S. I mentioned 'em here, because I had seen them on XDA.

Check out the comments and best of luck.

I told about battery. Yes, things are still not solved, but...improved than Froyo.

And, personal opinion...till google declares officially there are no bugs in Android and no such battery issue...I would never buy an Android mobile.

I'm seriously considering iOS and Win7/8 mobiles now.

guys im sorry, I forgot to give one important information..

my original power adapter was not working, so I bought a original replacement charger and didnt check the power ratings. I used it for a week .. but it was taking 6-8 hrs to charge.. after checking the power rating I came to know this - its output is 4.75V @0.4 amps.. :|

This is very low both in voltage and current and the power backup was even pathetic than what I am facing right now.. I use my dad's power adapter now (same as the one I had originally) its rating is 5V @ 0.7amps.

could this have been the culprit?

PS: I am no longer using the other low voltage charger..

this is one thing I hate in Android, they always concentrate on new versions rather than building a stable version.

I was also thinking about either moving to iOS or a windows phone. iPhone 4/4S is a good choice. cant say much about Windows Phone as current generation Win7 phones cant be upgraded to Windows Phone 8, so I need to wait till Microsoft releases it. it may coincide with the time when I will be buying a new mobile.
