HI all i have a planned for buying a Laptop so I m very confused coz this is 1st solo laptop
My main Config are:-
Intel core i5 (3rd gen)
4gb ram
500gbHDD
1gb graphics(for playing games so ply consider d best in its category)
a good battery life with a portability factor
MY BUDGET was 35 fist then i extended it to 45k (max)

my 1st choice was HP G6 2005AX at Rs33990 -flipkart
my 2nd choice Samsung NP300E5X-S01IN NP300E5X-S01IN at Rs 37100-flipkart
my 3rd Samsung Series 3 Laptop at Rs 47630
my 4th Acer Aspire V3-551G / AMD A8/ 4GB/ 2GB Graphics/ Win 7 HB at Rs 36000
my 5th Dell New Inspiron 15R 3rd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 500GB/ 1GB Graphics/ Linux at Rs 43255

make this point permanently in your mind, never gor for Nvidia GT 520mx, GT 525m or GT 610M, GT 620m. they are very weak graphic cards. look for GT 540M or GT 630M GPU in laptops to play games at decent settings. and yes about AMD, look for
7670M GPU.

From 35-40k: HP Pavilion G6 Series 2104TX (may be available for below 35k locally, best deal)
Above 40k: Dell 15R (but without any OS).

2nd gen proccy are same as 3rd gen. no improvement. A8 and i3 are almost same in performance.

no from MAHALAXMI INFO SYSTEMS which is at Laktokia - as the shop's seller is well known with my Bro so went there for ₹33000, I also asked what would be the cost without bag so they told that it will less by ₹1200-₹800 n my one is the sport's one so i would have been ₹1200 for sure & I think they are the cheapest in Ghy as Hp world(at Ghy club) was last ₹33200 (with bag)

BTW can you confirm one thing. What HDD you got? Seagate or Toshiba? simply go to device manager and give the first 5 digit of HDD model no.

new application (games) will appear here when you use them. set it to high performance (its showing power saving now, simple click will do).

next go to CPU power under Power and slide the bar to 1900Mhz for both max and minimum limit. this will make sure the processor doesn't goes down (you can set it to 1400-1900Mhz too). If you experience any sluggishness at games, set it to max clock speed. I think using Power Profiles you can set it to max battery, hp recommended, etc.

when i am running Batman Arkham city its runs smoothly with all settings maxed out except direct 11 disabled to give average score of about 48(inbuilt benchmark)....the moment i enable directx 11 feature even in minimum the game becomes unplayable due to lag....averga score is 17.... but one thing i see is that when directx 11 is enabled an "AMD Dual Graphics Technology" logo is displayed overlapping gameplay....does it means that dual graphics technology is utilized only when directx 11 features are enabled and game becomes unplayable....whats the point of this crossfire technology then...

Hows the Hitachi model i am getting a speed close to 29mb/s in starting and falling to 20Mb/s in the end for HDD transfer...is it good...Hows the hitachi(WD) compared with segate....
