new application (games) will appear here when you use them. set it to high performance (its showing power saving now, simple click will do).
next go to CPU power under Power and slide the bar to 1900Mhz for both max and minimum limit. this will make sure the processor doesn't goes down (you can set it to 1400-1900Mhz too). If you experience any sluggishness at games, set it to max clock speed. I think using Power Profiles you can set it to max battery, hp recommended, etc.
lastly disable dual GPU (unless you are gaming at DX11. most games drop frames when set to DX11 so you'll end up with bad results) and game. when set in high performance mode (even on battery) discrete GPU kicks in when dualGPU is off. If you select low performance, APU graphics kicks in.
hope this was what you were asking for.
when i was playing NFS-RUN with dual graphics off the game then crashed at a particular level bt when i switched on the dual graphics it was again fine k. i dont know Run is directx11 r not?
