What are H-Moire and V-Moire on a computer monitor. Could it reduce a bit of aliasing and if yes what value should i put it. there is a bit of aliasing even if antialiasing is turned on max. i noticed that the same game on a system with same sepcs and diff monitor working fine.

Moiré is a wavy effect produced by the convergence of lines.

Described as: "wavy lines," "wood grain patterns," "onion skinning," "roping lines," "flashing lines"

I use those six words(G-O-O-G-L-E) very extensively. I wanted to know if it is related to aliasing in any way. I got lot about moire but nothing about aliasing and moire relation.
Anyway thanx for the response.

its more pronounced when u have striped wallpaper and the color is light, u can see lines running from the edges of the monitor and making archs horizontally and vertically.

Moire setting can be used to remove those lines
