hi friends.
well my mobo has a pci-e x16 slot.
on manual it is written as pci-e x16 (x4 mode)
what does that x4 mode mean.
well will i be able to put pcl-e x16(like 7300gt) type gfx card in it.
i mean it is written that it also supports pcie x16 gfx cards like 6600gt.
my mobo is asus p5gl mx.
Your motherboard seem to support two graphics cards (nVidia SLI and ATI Crossfire;from what you mentioned the mobo chipset seem to be from Intel like P35 or P965 (NorthBridge) which are crossfire ready)
When using two graphics cards ATI crossfire will not run at full blown 8x mode but a lower 4x mode.
no it has a single pcie-x16 slot.
Read this for your mobo
