What can I upgrade

Hi guys, here's my config,
AMD Athlon 4600+ 2.40GHz DualCore
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2HP
Transcend 1GB 800MHz and Micron 2GB 800MHz
Corsair CX430V2
Seagate 1TB and 500GB
Zebronics Peace case with window

Please don't suggest to change the motherboard,because its really a great motherboard,has all things, spdif, graphics, esata all futureproof,except USB 3 and SATA 6GBs I think.

I run Windows 7 Ultimate x64,
I feel no slow, but Firefox gets stuck some times for few 5-10 seconds, YouTube steaming not smooth, where as I'm on 4MBPS BSNL Broadband.

I don't do Photoshop, I do very rarely,
And games very rarely, only browsing, downloading, HD movies, large collection of camera photos, videos, ....

for your usages this config is enough.firefox issue is due to some other reason.one upgrade i can think of is getting a quad core athlon II/Phenom II but these are almost all sold out & even when available will cost at least ~6000(new).bulldozer series is not suitable for this mobo.you can get a ~3000 graphics card to improve overall system performance especially during video playback(flash included).

add RAM, you have 2 more slots. get 2x2GB or if you can get single chip of 4 GB that too will be good.
same thing happened on my system as well,
while using Firefox. check memory taken up by Firefox and you will get the reason for slowness and system getting hung.
beside that cannot say what other reasons would be for the issue.

err i think there is some background process thats hogging up the resources fr those vital seconds.

How is the performance compared to other browsers?Is this issue specific to FF ?

Get a gpu.
Check internet speed.
Format system.
Update ff.

I format every 6/12 months.
Checked speeds, downloading shows 350-400kbps but browsing not superfast like downloading

I like only Firefox.updated also. Which graphic card should I get, not costly below 4k
I use Kaspersky. And yes there is free memory while using Firefox
And mine is AM2+ mobo...

But what about data reliability? I'm really afraid of hdd failures, and they MIGHT be recoverable, but SSD's, once deleted,gone forever.

I know you mean a boot drive, but there are many to buy and I'm confused...

and once I asked my local computer shop if they have SSD, he said what?

reliability wise samsung & intel are best but also costliest.crucial m4 seems to be a good option currently .
