Webcam suggestions

Hi digitians,

Please suggest me a webcam which can work decently at slow speeds as well..

Better if it has some extra features like video recording, zoom , etc

I have Asus K Series K53SV- 520 D laptop which has a 0.3 megapixel cam..

But when I use it with skype for video chat the video is very hazy and blurred
, probably due to low speeds.. Hence I am thinking to buy a new external webcam

also what should be the minimum broadband speed for HD webcams..

Anybody using iBall Face2Face C12.0 Webcam .. It has 12 megapixels!!

How is it..

I read some threads here and decided Logitech C110 for now..

BTW whats your net speed? and what type of connectivity?

I use a wireless router to connect to broadband. and the download speed is generally around 20-30 kbps.

Also a general query.. whether using a wireless router decreases the speed
as compared to using a wired connection.. i feel in my case its decreased since i added a wireless router.. Just 1 laptop is using the router

No. but with this 256 kbps connection, unfortunately you wont be able to video chat. too slow.
