AMD has changed the naming system of its processor. This started by the discontinuation of the duron chips and introduction of the "brand new" chip sempron
but its just a repackages thoroughbred B processor
its based on a 130nm engineering process, has 256K of L2 cache and runs on a 333MHz FSB
there is nuthin different from the thoroughbred B processor
AMD has done this to replace the durons and athlons/bartons with one singular name which will cater to the low and mid level segment
the current athlons based on socket A will be phased out by early 2005.
they will be available on socket 754 and 939

PS: the processor is crap !
