hi,
i am varun .i wnt to sell my system full working fine bought 4 year ago.
reason:going for a laptop.
intel(r)
celeron(r)cpu 1.70ghz
1.70ghz,256mb ram
80 gb hard disk of samsung bought i month ago.
microsoft windows xp professional version 2002 service pack 2.
i have a 15 inc monitor
working fine and i need 13000 to 14000 rs.

hey guys @it_waaznt_me, @Ch@0s, confirm it whether or not, legit XP can be sold.

coz, i own a HP Pavilion Desktop with XP Home SP2, i'm going to upgrade the motherboard for it, when i asked HP Support Centre about changing the Motherboard, they replied, that the XP Recovery DVD Disks (2 nos. which has XP install file) will not Install on new M/B, as all the required M/B drivers(current intel 915g) are automatically installed (or fail to install) from the Recovery Disks (on new M/B).

So if i sell the M/B, i'll have to give the "XP Recovery(install) Disks" too.

i've registered the XP, my Desktop online.

btw whats the price of XP Home SP2, & what price should i quote for MotherBoard + XP Home combo.
->the m/b has only three PCI slots & no PCI-e slot.
my PC is 1 year 1 month old.

which world are you in??

il tell u latest prices..

Intel Cel-LGA 2.66GHz 533MHz, 256KB, LGA Rs.2700 (much better proccy than urs)
i dunno which mobo you are using.. but i think a 945 with sata 2 and ddr 2 will do(4000)
80GB IDE?? or SATA?? IDE is 2K and sata is 2.2K
Ram u say is 256.. is it ddr or sd?? 256 ddr400 is 1400..
monitor.. which monitor..?? LG 15" flat shld be about 4.2K ( i got it 5months back for 4.8K) so total of these is about 11K putting a dvd writer,cabinet..kb n mouse another 3-5K(depending on user) so total about 16-17K

this is new PC n you want to sell approx same rate for a 4 yr old PC running on celeron 1.7 ??
