want to purchase a new android phone upto 25k

hie guys, i want to buy a new android device upto 25k.
i prefer to buy htc device as i heard htc is best company for android devices..
still i selected the two phones lg optimus 2x and htc desise S.
optimus2x is a dual core phone wich cud be best for gaming. but do lg promise the good android exp and whn can i get 2.3 update on optimus 2x?
and also i have the doubt abt the ips lcd screen on 2x.
so also say me the camparison abt ips-lcd sceen of lg and s-lcd screen of htc?

so plz give me ur suggestions....

desire s is not in league of 2x,get 2x
IMO you should increase your budget to get sgs2
2x is buggy

slcd offers better contrast and ips offers better viewing angles, generally ips is better as its newer technology and similar to what is used on the apple iphone retina displays, (BUT NOT THE SAME), between the two phones, the 2x is better in everything but battery life
the htc phone is at a lower price point, there is no clear better buy unless you push your budget to get the SII as reddead suggested, or you can drop your budget to 20K and get an iphone 3GS

Desire S is really a very good phone but coz u have a budget of 25k I would suggest you to buy Incredible S for 26k.

The Incredible S has a better cam but you will get the Galaxy S which is at par with the Desire S but with more default memory and battery life
