wish to use my current atx cabinet..is it
possible?
If everything fits well and there is no overheating then you may use it.
But its better if you get a cabinet like Cooler Master 310 @rs. 1500

thanks a lot.

sounds real good.but the power supply seems over powered to me.

is amd ahlon II x4 635 a future proof processor?

where is the graphic card?

just change the motherboard, case and monitor to:

-->Asus M4A78LT-M LE @ 2.6k
-->Zebronics Bijli @ 1k
-->Dell 20" LCD-LED Backlit monitor @6k

money saved 3.5k appx
now you need a graphic card like HD 5670 512mb at least @ 4.3k-4.5k

that processor will serve you well in future too

and that power supply is a must
don't underestimate the function of Power Supplies
they are the most vital part in our PC , just like heart in our body ;)

thank u for ur input.

i was just thinking 350w would be enough..but it seems 500w gives me a better margin.

if you are 100% sure that you won't do any future upgrades on this rig, then you can opt for FSP saga II 350W/400W @ 1.5k/1.8k respectively

but still 500W my recommendation
