Vodafone experimenting with Operator logos?

Don't understand what Vodafone is doing with its Operator logo.

My N70 which was showing "Vodafone" for so long had changed to "IND VODAFONE IN" a couple of weeks back. Then again after a couple of days it changed to "VFE MUMBAI".

And now it has changed to "VODAFONE" in all caps but is appearing at a higher level than where the operator logo normally is seen. I guess its tough to describe this in words but its appearing in small font at the top. :( Looks kinda weird.

Lets see whats next !!!

Genius in making mistakes
if u activate gprs then it will chage 2 vodafone.....i know itz silly ans...bt it worked wid me 3 timez.....n ya jst 2 dayz b4, on my display, vodafone logo was appearing extreme left side....donno y....n suddenly on next day after i woke up n saw cell...it was fyn....appearing on right side....

I agree with you. It does sound silly but that is a correct answer. Connecting to Vodafone GPRS resets the logo.

Earlier when Vodafone changed the logo to IND VODAFONE IN & then to VFE MUMBAI, this trick worked perfectly. However, this time I find that after connecting to Vodafone GPRS, the operator logo resets back to normal "Vodafone", but the effect remains only for a few minutes. After a few minutes it is changing back to VODAFONE on the top corner of the screen !!
