r u sayin dat wen i first installed Win Vista u did not face dis problem?

actually d problem dat u mentioned arises bcos vista does not seem 2have ne vista-compatible drivers 4 ur hw in its db
dat is y it is askin u 2 provide it wt vista-comaptible drivers

u may want 2 check ur hw offcial website 2 c wat drivers dey came up wit 4 vista and install dem b4 plugging d hw back in

ya i think for first 15 days i was working..

when i tried to do partition in hdd then also it asked me to give path for "disk drive" driver..

i think drivers for disks should be by default in vista..
and when i manually locate path for the driver, it searches the driver and installs.

but this should be done automatically just as xp ..

in an ideal world Vista shud have installed it automatically
but Vista is still quite new, so its db of hw drivers is still not vast enuf 4 all d hws dat people use

whereas XP is almost 5 yrs old now so it has had enuf time 2 come up with d drivrs comaptible with a lot more hws by now
